Affiliate disclosure

The short version: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the provider pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra — the price is identical either way. This is the site's only revenue.

How to tell which links pay us

Affiliate links on this site route through addresses that start with /go/(for example /go/spaceship), and every page containing one carries a disclosure box near the top. Links directly to a provider's website are not affiliate links. Notably, our most-recommended product — Cloudflare Pages — has no affiliate program at all; we earn $0 every time we send someone there, which is often.

The rules we hold ourselves to

• Recommendations are decided before money is considered. Where the best option pays nothing, it's still the pick, stated plainly.
• Renewal prices lead every comparison. Teaser pricing is the industry's favourite trick; we refuse to sort by it.
• Every price is dated and sourced from the provider's own pricing pages, and we correct errors when readers flag them.
• No pay-to-play. Providers cannot pay for placement, better positions in tables, or softer language about their gotchas.
• Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" for search engines, per Google's guidelines, and disclosed for humans, per FTC (US) and Competition Bureau (Canada) guidance.

We participate (or have applied to participate) in affiliate programs from Spaceship, Hostinger, and Zoho. This list changes as programs are joined or dropped; this page is updated when it does.
